Welcome all to the VSL podcast VSL Donates the VI Special Edition to the VSL Podcast In gratitude for all my work on the VSL Podcast, the Vienna Symphonic Library has kindly donated the Full version of the Vienna Instruments Special Edition Library. So I will be doing some dmeos in the future with this grat new library. Herb Tucmandl and I sat in Herbs own studio workstation at the VSL head quarters, where he applies the final key mapping and tests the new libraries out and of course creates demos. I ask Herb about his background. What he did when he was younger, and what were his career plans. He tells us about his film career and his dream to be in the Vienna Philhamonic Orchestra as a Violincello (Cello) player. We talk about the start of the VSL and what it took to make the company work. We then talk about the current events of VSL and what plans there are for the future.
